In the Physicians Explore page table you will find numerous providers who are listed with the specialty, "Mid-Level Practitioner." (See image.)
The term "Mid Level Practitioner" is a catchall for many different specialty taxonomies. However, the vast majority of providers listed in the Trella platform will fall into one of the following areas of expertise:
- Physician Assistant
- Nurse Practitioner
- Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Nurse Anesthetist, Certified Registered
- Advanced Practice Midwife
- Anesthesiologist Assistant
If you want to identify the specialty for a specific provider, click on their name, which is a link to the Physician Detail page for your selected provider. After navigating to the detail page;
- Look in the provider's Contact Information at the Subspecialty (in box)
- Click on the physician's NPI which is a link to the NPPES NPI Registry database entry for that provider. Scroll down on the page to the provider's list of registered taxonomies. (Arrow)
