Overview
We test Marketscape extensively to assure the best possible online experience. This includes testing on different devices, operating systems, and the latest versions of numerous browsers.
This article summarizes the Operating systems, browsers and devices that are supported for Marketscape.
Operating Systems and Browsers
Our experience is that Google Chrome provides the best overall experience and is available for all devices.
The following combinations are supported:
The browser names in the table are links to the website for each browser.
Operating System | Browser |
Windows 10 |
Microsoft Edge (New Edge based on Chromium, version 79 or later) |
iOS - iMac, iPhone, and iPad | |

Tablets
Marketscape is web-based, which means that it is view-able using the suggested browsers on most tablets; Android or iPad. Because you can't "hover" your pointer or "right-click," most functionality is unavailable. In addition, you can download the Marketscape Mobile App from the Google Play store or Apple Apps store. See Marketscape Mobile App, for instructions.
Phones
Like tablets, you will be able to use a browser on a smartphone to log in and view Marketscape. You will not be able to "hover" your pointer or "right-click," which makes some functions unavailable. The largest limitation of a phone is that the screen is small and this can make viewing the data a challenge. For that reason, we recommend the Marketscape Mobile App. See Marketscape Mobile App, for instructions.
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Microsoft now recommends and ships Windows 10 with the Edge Browser as the default. Microsoft Internet Explorer is only receiving security updates and technical support. We've designed Marketscape to work with modern browsers.

Footnotes
Microsoft Edge- Although they share a similar name, Microsoft Edge Legacy and Microsoft Edge use different technology. Micosoft Edge was released as a new downloadable product in January of 2020. Prior to that Microsoft Edge Legacy was the default browser for Windows 10 PCs and had the name Microsoft Edge. Microsoft Edge Legacy represents Microsoft Edge versions prior to 79. See the Microsoft Edge Home Page for download instructions and additional information.
Android - There are a number of different browsers available that work on Android devices. We suggest downloading Google Chrome for the most predictable experience.
