CMS on Tuesday (Feb. 22) pulled the Accountable Care Organizations Transformation Track aimed at giving a handful of rural ACOs advanced payments, as the agency says it is working on an agency-wide strategy for accountable care and will soon announce more proposals to increase ACOs in rural areas.

As we are now partnering with FLAACOS, we need to ensure we are on top of what's going on in the ACO world too. Not all is applicable, so this is just FYI so our teams are high-level knowledgeable.

CHART Model | CMS Innovation Center

Through the Community Health Access and Rural Transformation (CHART) Model, CMS aims to continue addressing disparities by providing a way for rural communities to transform their health care delivery systems by leveraging innovative financial arrangements as well as operational and regulatory flexibilities.
