Overview
Many Marketscape users, especially remote workers, will connect to a company VPN to access company files securely. If you connect to a company VPN, it is possible that related security settings will make it impossible to log in to Marketscape.
What does the VPN conflict look like?
We have been able to work with users who have experienced this error. If you have a VPN conflict, when you try to log in, you will see the following error
How do I resolve the conflict?
Turn off your VPN connection. Once you disconnect, you should be able to log in to Marketscape.
There are numerous VPN programs. Cisco AnyConnect is a commonly used application. We show Cisco for this example.
You should be able to open the connection interface through your Windows "Start" button, by clicking on the icon, or searching for "Cisco" in your windows search. In addition, if the VPN is currently connected, you will see the icon in the Notifications section of your windows interface. (See in image below.)
The image below shows what the Cisco client interface looks like. If you are connected, your company's VPN name will appear in the dropdown field and the button will say, "Disconnect."
Sorry, we looked everywhere and couldn't find an image of Cisco AnyConnect logged in.
