Background
Unlike a normal browser update that requires no action from the end user, migrating to the new Microsoft Edge requires downloading and installing the new Edge. Although they share a similar name, Microsoft Edge Legacy and Microsoft Edge use different technology. Microsoft Edge Legacy represents Microsoft Edge versions prior to 79. See the Microsoft support article on What's the difference between the new Microsoft Edge and Microsoft Edge Legacy? for more information.
We test and support Marketscape on the latest versions of browsers, so Microsoft Edge Legacy is not a supported browser.
How do I determine whether I have Edge or Edge Legacy?
You can only have new Edge or Edge Legacy, so the easiest way to determine which you have is to look at the icon for the Edge application in your start menu or task bar.
